Scholarships for Bratislava EAAP Annual Meeting 2012

EAAP every year gives a good number of scholarships depending on the available budget and on the eventual sponsor supporting the scholarships program. To participate to the scholarship program you must be younger than 38 years old and be an EAAP individual member that is resident in one of the EAAP member countries (with some restrictions for few countries) or if you are resident in a non EAAP member countries you need to become EAAP individual member directly. For the 63rd annual meeting in Bratislava from 27 to 31 AUGUST 2012 the deadline is 1st March 2012

Each applicant must send to the EAAP Secretariat in Rome (eaap@eaap.org):

  • Name, address, fax and phone number, date of birth and short CV
  • Name and address of the institution where he/she works.
  • The full paper which the applicant intends to present, written in English. The paper should not exceed 5 pages including tables, figures and references. The contribution should be in line with the agenda of one of the provisional sessions.
  • A copy of the original abstract form (in English), completed in accordance with the instructions given by Wageningen Academic publishers.

The paper can be sent by email (eaap@eaap.org) or by post (5 copies) to: EAAP - Via G. Tomassetti 3 A/1, I-00161 Rome - Italy

The applicant should send directly to the Publisher the completed abstract form. The form and guidelines for completing the Abstract form can be downloaded from www.WageningenAcademic.com/eaap . The EAAP Secretariat in Rome will inform the applicants of the result of the examination by the Board of Examiners of their application by April 30th.

The Successful applicants will receive information on the conditions and uses of the lump sum, according to the financial situation of the Scholarship Fund. In the same way as for all other authors, the successful applicants will be informed by the relevant Commission President on the method of presentation chosen for the paper in question that can be either oral presentation or poster. Not successful applicants will also be advised by that date. Please note well that the failure to obtain a scholarship does not entail the removal of the abstract and the relevant Commission President will also inform you if the paper was accepted and eventually about which method of presentation was chosen for the paper in question.
